Lindee Flater

Heather Mattei is a Managing Director at Northstone Loan Services. She has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate lending and servicing. Heather graduated from St. Vincent College in 1990 with a degree in paralegal studies with a minor in business.

After graduation, she spent eight years in the legal arena, working in both corporate and commercial real estate departments of well-respected law firms. Her combination of financial and legal knowledge makes her an asset to Northstone’s borrowers and lenders.

Heather has been a Board member for several non-profits, including Paws & Prayers Animal Rescue, The Junior League of Cleveland, and the Rolling Brooke HOA. She is a member of the Cleveland chapter for Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).

Heather lives with her husband, Andy, and their two dogs, Marshall and Lucy. They also have two adult children, one living in Cleveland, OH, and the other in Atlanta, GA. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and working out.

Lindee Flater is a Managing Director at Northstone Loan Services. She has gained a wealth of commercial real estate knowledge over 20 years of working with numerous developers, investors, and institutional capital sources. She has consulted with clients on all property types throughout the various stages of development. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in finance with a concentration in Real Estate.

While attending UNI, she pursued an internship with AEGON USA Realty Advisors within their commercial real estate loan production unit, launching her into her commercial real estate investment banking career. Lindee began her career as a financial analyst, where she was responsible for underwriting, valuation, and closing transactions. She then developed her own clientele of valued customers and moved into management roles at Northstone.

Lindee lives in Strongsville, OH, with her husband, Mike, and their two sons. Between work and shuttling her sons to soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and baseball practices, she enjoys traveling the country with her family and their dachshund in their RV.

Polly Steffen is the Portfolio Manager of Northstone Loan Services and manages the servicing department. She has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate, finance, and corporate legal industries. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Kent State University and is currently working on obtaining her Certified Commercial Mortgage Servicing designation within her MBA. She began her commercial real estate career as a legal assistant before moving on to commercial real estate and finance roles at various companies.

Polly believes in giving back to her community and has spent many years volunteering for various organizations. She has been an officer and chair of committees within the PTO at the Chardon and Beaumont Schools, fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and teaching religious education at St. Mary’s Church. Polly lives in Chardon, OH. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, their three grown children, and their two pugs.
